Hundreds of people in Madyan resorted to protest on Sunday against the unjust ban on the selling of snow. They chanted slogans against the DCO and the AC, Bahrain.
Many of the protesters who were attached to the snow business condemned the move and said that they bring down the snow from the distant parts of Kalam to make a living for themselves. “We select the best place to bring the snow from. It is not injures to health,” they added. The ban is tantamount to our economical murder,” they retorted.
They demanded the authorities to lift the ban and permit them to sell the snow for their livelihood.
