The residents of Gul Kada held a ‘Charity for Pesco’ camp at Nishat Chowk, Mingora on Tuesday in order to raise the 75,000 rupees the Pesco demanded for the repair of the two-week-long-broken transformer of the area.
It is one of many camps for the arrangement of the money after the people of the locality staged a demonstration outside Pesco House.
However, the residents came up with new type of protest on Tuesday where they held a charity camp for the required money.
“We will go from house to house to raise the money,” the protestors said.
